Taffetas: A Persuasive XMas 1by ~neo-dragon

Here is the first part of my entry for

and

's Taffetas winter contest! I don't know if I'll have enough time to finish the other pages before the due date, but I figured worst case scenario, this page can stand on its own.

Anyway, when I was thinking about my entry for the contest, I knew right away that I wanted to twist the concept a little bit and involve another character. I also happen to be a fan of Elena, and her siren fishiness!

And, of course, what else would she be doing on this lovely winter holiday but try (with some success) to seduce Taffetas' eligible bachelor, Veil Taffeta! This comic was inspired by this drawing that Tracy did awhile back of a similar concept!

I love love love that you paid attention to my sketches with Elena's outfits and you even changed her hair to fit season two! And Veil is sooo cute here, he's so difficult to draw but you got him pretty good! And-- He's in trouble! noooo! EUUGHH ELENA'S BEING CREEPY!! VEIL SNAP OUT OF IT!

Aww I'm glad you noticed! I had spent a bit of time figuring out what Elena was going to look like here - I wanted her to look as fitting to this scene (as if it was in continuity) as possible.

I'm glad you liked it! I'll try to get the other pages up before the due date (the second page is already inked) but I wanted to get the first page online just in case...that and I got kind of excited about showing you and Jess this page when I finished it.

I really dig your look for Elena here, the sweater and everything included. I like to see your take on our villain since you're definitely good at them XD! I appreciate the time taken to make it look fitting not just in looks but also in continuity! How awesome.
