This was inspired by my friend who, awhile back, went to wake up her nephew (who was I think like 11 at the time) and, without realizing it, he raised his hands all grabby-hand fashion like a little kid does. She found it adorable and so did I.

I love Kid, Liz and Patty's little relationship. Like many things in Soul Eater, you can take it any way you want. I like to see their relationship as a dysfunctional little family, with Liz as the older sister/mother and Kid and Patty as the little siblings/children.

As tough and mature and powerful as Kid is, he's still a child.

Thank you! My drawing instructor encourages us to draw in a super sketchy style and aim mostly for conveying gesture/emotion, so that was what I was trying to do for this comic. :D I may eventually ink and color it.

Awww...I like to think of them as a little family, too. ^^ Although, for me, Kid fluctuates from little siblings/children to older brother. Though the latter is usually seen in very rare moments. *shrug*

But, I love this little comic. It makes Kid look so cute (when ISN'T he? XD ) and Liz looks really sweet.

Faving this! Just 'cuz it's cute as heck. ^_^

Aww, very sweet! That's totally how I interpret Kid,Liz,Patty. Just like a wierd family with a young mother taking care of 'sibilings' like children.

Thank you! :giggle: Poor Liz. She's the closest to normal of the group, and is stuck taking care of two of the most dysfunctional characters in Soul Eater.
