At one of the universities I work at, I'm teaching a Character Design class. We're at a section now where we're talking about adding shading and colors, and I used Rori here as my example on how to add colors and shadows in Photoshop (also showing them other painting methods that use more blended shadows...but cell-shading came out the best in this, and it's my preferred style. I figured since I have to demo for the class anyway, I've been selected certain characters and giving them an update. I particularly liked how Rori came out here and figured I'd toss her up here.
There are some minor changes to her markings and colors - more gray wolf, less husky - she now has 5 fingers and dew claws (making 5 toes) just because it didn't make much sense to have her lose fingers and toes when she transformed. I also updated her head to try and give her a slightly more realistic wolf head design. Her colors are more brownish grey (though the shading darkened her colors a bit). I also wanted her eyes to look feral, like she can't be reasoned with.
The background is an altered watercolor pattern that I had purchased earlier this year as part of a set. Couldn't figure out what to do with the background so I figured I'd try this for now. Ultimately once I finish all of her redesign I'll probably stick them on a linen pattern like I did with the original model sheets.
I hope you like it!

Oh man I love the more wolf-like feel to her here - very monstrous and intimidating, and more powerful than ever! I love the new head design, and the more feral look. The terrifyingly out-of-control aspect to the transformation is very apparent here!
