Fear my creative titles. x.x But oh well. Darn it, it's 6AM here and I'm about to keel over. I wanted to finish this picture because if I stopped it so close to completion, I'd probably leave it alone as it was. And I wanted to make sure it looked semi-nice. Anyway, the idea was for Lust to be the aggressor, but Scar not to necessarily submissive. He's supposed to be somewhat surprised, unsure, scowling as usual. I'm a big fan of ScarxLust, although there are some parts of it that make me frown slightly, mostly it being the fact that Lust is Scar's brother's lover. But they're such a cute coupling, Scar's brother traumatized the poor boy to celibacy anyway, and it's not like Lust cheated on him while either of them had been alive... >.>

I like how everything came out except for Lust's face...I just could never get it to look the way I wanted it. Women's faces are so hard to do in profile. I think it's the lips that throw me. I don't like to draw lips. :/

I'd guess this took me like 6 hours to do, from sketch to finish, but I didn't really time it. z.z This was drawn by hand, digitally inked and colored in Photoshop. Not Illustrator, as I have been using so often lately.

EDIT: Shrunk Lust's lips down a bit.

Oooohh... looks awesome. X3 And I agree about female profiles. @__@; Lips are annoying to draw, but you did a good job!

Aw, cute. Or not...Scar/Lust, for all that I like them, are one couple that can't pull off "cute". I think it's the simple fact that they are both such tough and aggressive characters. Great job and Scar looks awesome. I'm glad to see more art for this underloved and under appricated couple! ^^

Thanks! It has to be the lips that make it so hard. Male profiles don't give me trouble anymore, but female profiles are still a pain. Lust kept looking like something from the Rocky Horror Picture show. This was the most satisfied I could get with how she came out. :lol:

I love the pose you chose. The way Lust's holding Scar's hand and cornering him by the wall. She is certainly the most dominant character ever. But her lips look too full. In anime, women barely have full lips. If they have any, it's only the lower lip. Scar's pants are looking so well-drawn. Cloths are really difficult to draw, but you are succeed with that perfectly. Background is good. The texture filters, aren't they?

Hahaha, well, it is easiest to draw whatever it is you normally draw the most. For me, it's men. I don't draw women often so they end up looking a bit manly. I have a friend who has the opposite problem, she draws women more often and her men end up looking like women.

To not feel so bad about their love, it's like his brother is right there with them as the arm...that's kinda creepy when I type it out... I like the pic, but I can tell what you mean with the face. But any fan can still tell it's lust and it's still a pretty pic.
